I elected up the Garmin 1350T Refurbished for just over $125 on sale, and what a go quietly it was. When I got the unit, it was like groundbreaking new. The only clue to it being refurbished is the plain colorless box the unit comes in. Of the numerous Garmin nuvi’s I’ve had over the being, this one is by far the best having the most responsive touchscreen and greatest OS. It locks on to the satellites much quicker than previous models, the lane help works splendid and the lifetime transfer is a must have. I was even able to go to Garmin’s website and update the firmware and upgrade to the latest 2011.10 maps.
So far I couldn’t be more pleased with the Garmin 1350T and like the fact I save much $$$ going with the refurbished develop. I would highly urge the 1350T and highly urge going with the refurbished models to save some cash.

The Garmin 1350 is a very clad GPS unit. The upset screen is nicely responsive, and the various facial appearance like showing the posted alacrity limit on many roads, FM transfer receiver, and lane help make it a very passable mid-array Garmin. I’ve read reviews in which users experienced person harms with this and additional Nuvi units, but I haven’t had any myself. When I use it I am impeccably in no doubt I’ll end up where I need to go. Also, I bought this unit refurbished and it works like new.

Incredible what this unit does. We were in a 50mph zone quick to a 40mph zone. We wondered when Karen (we nicknamed it Karen after the voice we elected) would update the alacrity limit sight…. Well, just as we went by the 40mpg sign, the update occurred. Terrifying…. Also, Karen predicted our arrival time from 150 miles away. Due to excellent transfer flow, we arrived surrounded by 1 small of the prediction. Terrifying too. Directions were aptly on.

|Works well for darning apparatus,
I bought this transformer in this area a year ago for my German darning apparatus (230 V, 85 W, 50 Hz) to run it in the US (110 V, 60 Hz). So far it works like a charm. I’ve used it for practically a few darning projects over the past year and was apprehensive whether the 60 Hz/50 Hz difference would be an come forth, but all seems to be running just fine. Investing twenty bucks in a transformer allowable me to keep by my traditional darning apparatus as a substitution for of export and culture how to use a new one, so it was well worth it.
Addition – April 2011: After three being of use now, it still works fine and I haven’t had to exchange any fuses yet. But you have to be attentive of the wattage on the appliances you are plugging into it. I just saw some of the reviews with decrease ratings on this item saying it doesn’t work, starts smoking, fuses blow at once etc. Delight be attentive that this transformer is limited to 200 Watts only, and you doubtless don’t want to max that out any to stay on the safe side. Find out how many Watts you are plugging into it before you turn it on and keep in mind 200 is honestly low. If you have larger wattage bits and pieces you will need to invest your money into a transformer that can handle that.
You can doubtless steadily run the later bits and pieces by this transformer: timer radio, gripping blanket, laptop, a small TV, radio, VCR/DVD, Xbox, PS2, Wii. You may hit the limit and question for vex with desktop computers, Hi-Fi equipment, Xbox 360, PS3, LCD or plasma TVs – you may want to get a 500W transformer for those. You will very nearly indeed blow the fuses if you try to run: any sort of kitchen appliance, potential tools, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, iron. You need something much more gray duty for those bits and pieces.

|A bit fantastic but does the job fine,
I bought a link of these on moving from London to NYC, and they work fine. My one protest would be that the clearance not more than the UK plug socket is not huge, so the cord coming out the underside of the plug has to bend sharply to avoid the surface the transformer rests on. It’s not a huge come forth though, and we’ve been by them for a link of months with no harms. Don’t toss away the substitution fuses that come with it, though; I’ve already had to exchange one of them.

Plugged the item in, fuse blew aptly away. Would not work at all. Its a piece of junk, don’t waste your money on it!
