If TomTom wanted Beta-testers, they would have had no famine of volunteers. If TomTom had delayed the release of this item in anticipation of it was fully functional, they would have had a few disappointed pre-order customers but if not lucky users. I’ll start with the positive:
1. The windshield mount is very nice. The twist/click suction cup works splendid and the attractive dock is super simple to use.
2. The screen is nice and huge. The graphics sight nicely and are apparent and simple to be with you in a glance.
3. It gives directions. That IS why you want a GPS system, after all, isn’t it?
4. Disparate some additional reviewers, mine finds its signal extremely promptly. It is equipped to go long before I am (having to join it to the dock and potential cord, start car, try out mirrors, etc).
5. It seems to do all promptly. It recalculates my send surrounded by a few feet if I point out not to take its not compulsory turns. Scrolling owing to menus is quick as the page refresh is very quick.

Here’s why:

4. Menus could be condensed and updated for ease of use. Some of the options don’t seem to make implication where they are.
5. Most terrible of all for me: Consumer Support. TomTom thinks it’s impeccably conventional to advertise a manufactured goods can do equipment it can’t and payment people full fee while they wait around for facial appearance that might work someday. I was told flat-out by a tech “TomTom releases a new contrivance each 3 or 4 months. You can’t expect all of the facial appearance to work on all of them before we release them.” Yes. I like the TomTom Home best, but maybe they will improve the site and make it best than TomTom Home!
